One of my third grade students came in from lunch one day to tell me that Micah had dropped his meat on the floor, picked it up, and continued eating. I asked Micah why he didn't let me know because I would have gotten him another piece of meat.
He replied, "Awww, Mrs. S., I prayed over it!" :)

Ha! That's funny. One day one of my little girls got hurt on the playground. Turns out she was chasing a little boy and he accidentally hurt while trying to pull away from her. When I asked him what happened he said, "She was chasing me, I had no choice but to use self-defense."
ReplyDeleteOn another day during math this same boy was looking at a worksheet and loudly spelled out one of the words: "A-D-D. Hey, that's what I have!"
